Akshaya Ravishkumar Lakshmi, PhD

I am a postdoctoral scholar aspiring to understand the complex interactions between tumors cells and immune cells in the brain tumor microenvironment. I am particularly interested in evaluating the critical role of a tumor secreted chemokines in regulating the tumor-immune cell interactions in driving BRAF-altered gliomas. Outside the lab, I enjoy exploring the bay area, watching movies and listening music.
