Viva Voong
Undergraduate Student Researcher
I am an undergraduate student interested in the intersection of biochemistry and neuroscience. Last summer, I contributed to a project investigating optimal cold ischemia time and storage conditions to preserve phosphoprotein expression. Currently, I am learning to utilize quantification and computational tools to explore intratumoral and intertumoral heterogeneity. Outside the lab, I am engaged in global health initiatives, tutoring refugees, and providing peer mentorship. In the future, I aim to integrate my interest in clinical medicine and biomedical research to advance cancer therapeutics and enhance patient outcomes.
